About the event

BraveArt is a movement to gather and inform artists and musicians who wish to use their gifts as a positive force in the Earth to bring freedom and redemption into the lives of communities, families, and individuals. We are a community of artists and musicians that use our talents as a means to wage war on evil. We are warriors. We are heros. We are determined to make a difference in this world.

At this BraveArt Pop-Up Art show we will be supporting a safe house rescuing women from human trafficking with 30% of all art sales! Team Jesus is the non-profit doing this hard work. And we will be supporting the rescues they do through art sales. You can rescue women from human trafficking by buying art!

This will be a place to connect with passionate artists and engage with the community. Come have some free coffee and enjoy some spectacular works of art all while raising awareness and funds for this human trafficking safe house. We will have high top tables set around the event for guests to stand around and have a place to set their coffee, along with some unique LIVE music, creating a space within the art display for a fun social experience. Admission is 100% free!

Hope to see you there! Date:        APRIL 10, 2020 Time:        7-8:30pm Location:  The Base                 6000 Douglas Ave                 Des Moines, IA 50322

Unfortunately this space is *NOT* wheelchair or handicapped accessible. It breaks our heart to have such a limitation and we hope to remedy this in the future.

Other Info: The Base is a ministry that has a heart to support and develop creative gifts in Iowa. They are totally on board with this mission and are graciously providing their awesome steampunk decorated sanctuary for this event! You can find out more about the ministry at
