Yesterday was my last day at the restaurant I worked at for the last two years. I’m starting a new chapter in my life today. It’s exciting as well as scary. But hey. Things worth doing are worth risk. These work shoes are literally held together with duct tape and masking tape. About 6 months ago when I made the decision that being an artist was want I wanted out of life, I made the conscious choice that I was not going to buy new shoes for work. The discomfort would be a constant reminder that I needed to work hard to follow my dreams. I knew that it could take years before I could quit working a second job but I was willing to wear these shoes till the very end. And God has blessed me greatly. He provided a way for me to work full time as an artist now. God made my path strait and I know He will continue to help me grow in my business and my talents. He is a good father. And he gives good gifts. Now I get to throw these old shoes out and turn the page to my new chapter of my life. I can’t wait to see what happens next…
